1975 Honda ST90K2 Unregistered US Import Barn Find Classic Restoration Project
This bright little Honda ST90K2 has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours.
As you can see this bike has a few parts missing – LH mirror and indicators being the most obvious. Some of the bright chrome is pitted/peeling, the top coat on the headlight bowl is chipped/peeling, the clock face rim is broken, there are a few rust scabs in the paint and the seat cover is torn.
The wheels are straight but there are a few rust spots on the chrome rims. The forks and yokes look straight but the chrome is peeling. The tail light assy is good as are the headlight. Instruments and switches look ok. The carburettors are free sliding off the twist grip. The paintwork is slightly faded. The chain guard is tidy. Both mud guards are solid nut the chrome is pitted. The standard exhaust is solid.
The engine is cosmetically clean. BUT BEST OF ALL when we fed it some fresh fuel and gave it a good kick we had it firing/running & revving.
