1965 Honda S90 Unregistered US Import Barn Find Classic Restoration Project
This well-respected and much sought after 1965 Honda S90 has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours.
As you can see this bike has a few parts missing – Ball end off the brake lever and the mirror being the most obvious. We also noted a hairline crack in the headlight shroud.
The wheels are straight with nice clean chrome rims and working brakes. The forks and yokes look straight and gators are intact. The tail light assy is good as are the headlight lens and rim. Instruments look ok and switches move freely. The carburettors are free sliding off the twist grip. The paintwork is bright but there are a few scattered marks, fuel tank looks useably clean inside. The seat base is in good condition throughout. The chain guard is tidy. Both mud guards are straight and tidy. The standard exhaust is solid but there are a couple of small dents in the silencer.
The engine is cosmetically clean. We have had it firing/running & revving on easystart spray but the fuel system & carbs will need attention.
