1965 Honda S65 Sport Unregistered US Import Classic Restoration Project
This stunning little 1965 Honda S65 Sport as recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours.
As you can see this bike has a few parts missing – Ball end off the clutch lever being the most obvious. We noted that the seat is discoloured, the throttle is stuck and there are some small marks in the otherwise bright paint.
The wheels are straight with nice clean chrome rims and working brakes. The forks shrouds look ok. The tail light assy is good as is the headlight. Instruments look ok and switches move freely. The fuel tank looks useably clean inside. The seat base is in good condition throughout. The chain guard is tidy. Both mud guards are straight and solid. The standard exhaust is solid and bright.
The engine is cosmetically clean. We have had it firing/running on easystart spray but the fuel system & carbs will need attention.
