1981 Kawasaki KE125A Unregistered US Import Barn Find Classic Restoration Project
This well-respected, and very much sought-after Tax & MOT exempt 1981 Kawasaki KE125A has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life.
.As you can see this bike has got a few bits missing, a few bits damaged/broken, a few bits rusty/corroded, a few bits non-standard & a few bits are very nice indeed.
The wheels look straight with nice chrome rims, good hubs & brake plates. Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome. Mudguards are both solid. Headlight & hangers look ok. Instruments look ok. Carburettor is free sliding off the twist grip. Paintwork is non-std & slightly faded but solid, fuel tank is useably clean inside. Exhaust is original & solid. Seat base is in good condition throughout.
The engine is cosmetically clean but sadly, it is seized, hopefully it will be through standing around forever, but we have not inspected the engine internally, so we have no idea why/how it has seized.
