1975 Kawasaki F9C 350 Bighorn Enduro Unregistered US Import Classic Restoration
This well-respected, and very much sought-after Tax & MOT exempt 1975 Kawasaki F9C 350 Bighorn Enduro has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours. This and the fact it's only showing 8415 miles and has been in dry storage for a considerable time have helped maintain its boyish good looks.
As you can see this bike has a few parts missing – Mirrors, Air filter & lid, exhaust baffle & tachometer cable being the most obvious. Not so obvious is the fact that the engine is loose in the frame, cylinder head & barrel are just loosely fitted & the piston is missing. It has stood a while, so the battery is flat, paintwork is faded & tyres are perished. Sadly, the front mudguard is cracked & tail lens is broken.
This is the actual bike you are bidding on – Not library pictures from 48 years ago. The wheels look straight with nice clean chrome rims, good hubs & brake plates. Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome. Headlight & hangers look ok. Instruments look good. Carburettor is free sliding off the twist grip. Paintwork is slightly faded but solid, fuel tank is useably clean inside and has just minor dents/marks & scratches in the original paint. Exhaust is original & solid. Seat base is in very good condition throughout. Indicators are tidy.
The engine is cosmetically clean, but obviously needs attention.
