1972 Kawasaki F7A 175 Unregistered US Import Classic Restoration Project
This Tax and MOT exempt 1972 Kawasaki F7A 175 USA has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours.
As you can see this bike has a few parts missing – Chain, front sprocket cover, ball end off clutch lever, innards of RH switch hub, ignition key, RH pillion footpeg, odometer, and airbox rubber being the most obvious. There are a few dent in the tank and the paint is rust scabbed.
The wheels are straight wbut the chrome rims have rust spots. The forks and yokes look straight but are pitted. The tail light assy is good as are the headlight and bowl. The fuel tank has some rust inside. The seat base is in good condition throughout. The chain guard is tidy. Both mud guards are straight. The standard exhaust is solid. The engine is cosmetically clean.
Sadly the engine is seized, hopefully it will be through standing around forever but we have not inspected the engine internally so we have no idea why/how it has seized.
