1974 Yamaha DT360A Enduro Unregistered US Import Classic Running Restoration
This well-respected and much sought after 1974 Yamaha DT360A Enduro has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours.
As you can see this bike has a few parts missing – Chain guard, headlight and hangers, indicators and ball ends off the front brake and clutch levers. We also noted that a fin has broken off the engine, the fuel cap lock is broken, the rear wheel rim is dented and there are a few dents in the tank and oil tank.
The front wheel looks ok but has some rust spots. The forks and yokes look straight but are pitted. Instruments and switches look ok. The carburettor is stiff but moving. The paintwork is slightly faded, fuel tank looks useably clean inside. The seat base is in good condition throughout. Both mud guards are solid. The standard exhaust is solid. The engine is cosmetically clean.
BUT BEST OF ALL when we fed fresh fuel through the carb and gave it a good kick we had it firing/running & revving.
