1960 Cushman Cast Iron Eagle Scooter Unregistered US Import Stunning Classic
This incredibly rare Tax & MOT exempt circa 1960 Cushman Standard Cast Iron Eagle Scooter has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours. This and the fact it's only showing 9313 miles and has been lovingly restored and in dry storage for a considerable time have helped maintain its boyish good looks.
Not that this bike needs or deserves restoring LOOK AT IT!!!.
As you may or may not know, here at DK Motorcycles we have very little knowledge or experience with these classic American bikes but luckily you aficionados usually put us right!
This is the actual bike you are bidding on – Not library pictures from 60 years ago & it is every bit as nice as it looks here.....A great find!
It must have been restored because it is all in glorious condition throughout, that said, there is a dent on the top of the front mudguard - The engine is cosmetically very clean, it turns over nicely off the kick starter – sounds/feels great & has compression - We have had it firing/running on easystart spray but the fuel system & carb will need attention......don't fret we didn't run it long.
