HONDA - CX500

1980 Honda CX500 Unregistered US Import Classic Running Restoration Project

 

This tidy de-badged Tax & MOT exempt 1980 Honda CX500 has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours.

PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES........ As you can see this bike has a few parts missing – Badges, decals, hi-low toggle switch, ignition barrel and key being the most obvious. Other bits to note are the grubby tank, front brake doesn't work and the dink & chrome damage to the RH silencer.

The engine is cosmetically clean. BUT BEST OF ALL when we hooked it up to a good battery we had it firing/running & revving on it's own fuel.
