1970 Honda CT90K2 Trail Unregistered US Import Classic Running Restoration Project
This well-respected and much sought after 1970 Honda CT90K2 has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours.
PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES........ As you can see this bike has a few parts missing – mirrors, ball end off the clutch lever, airbox assy, heat shield, side panels and battery. The frame cover casing is broken, seat cover is torn and the fork gators are perished.
The wheels are straight with nice clean chrome, good hubs and working brakes. The forks and yokes look straight. The tail light assy is good as are the headlight and bowl. Instruments looks ok but switches are stiff. The carburettor is free sliding off the twist grip. The fuel tank is useably clean inside. The seat base is in good condition throughout. The chain guard is tidy. Both mud guards are solid. The standard exhaust is solid.
The engine is cosmetically clean. BUT BEST OF ALL when fed fresh fuel to the carb and gave it a good kick we had it firing/running & revving.
