This well-respected and much sought after 1978 Honda CB550K4 has recently been imported from North America where its spent all of its life.
There are a few bits missing; battery and mirrors being the most obvious. We also noted that; there are a few small dents in the top of the tank and a larger one in the LH side of the tank along with a few marks to the original paint.
The wheels look straight with clean chrome rims
Forks look straight but are slightly tarnished
Headlight bowl and lens look good but the rim has a small amount of rust
Indicators and tailight look ok
Instruments look good and switches move freely
Exhausts are standard, solid and bright
Chainguard is tidy
Seatbase is solid, foam and cover look ok
Mudguards are straight with bright chrome
The tank has some surface rust inside but feels solid
When we hooked it up to a booster battery we had it firing, running and revving on easystart spray but the carbs and fuel system will need some attention.
