1976 Honda CB550K Unregistered US Import Original Running Classic Resto Project
This well-respected and much sought after 1976 Honda CB550K6 has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours. This and the fact it's only showing 4440 Miles and has been in dry storage for the last umpteen years have helped maintain its boyish good looks.
As you can see this bike is remarkably original and complete, even housing it's tool kit tucked away under the seat. Sadly there are holes in 3 of the 4 silencers but other than that and a few age related marks this bike is a stunner!
The wheels are straight with nice clean chrome rims. The forks and yokes look straight and gators are intact. The tail light assy is good as are the headlight and bowl but the rim has a small scuff. Instruments look ok and switches move freely. The carburettors are free sliding off the twist grip. The paintwork is bright with minor scuffs/marks, fuel tank looks useably clean inside. The seat base is in good condition throughout. The indicators are tidy. The chain guard is tidy. Both mud guards are straight and bright. The engine is cosmetically clean.
BUT BEST OF ALL when we hooked it up to a booster battery we had it firing/running & revving on it's own tank.
