1974 Honda CB360K0 Unregistered US Import Classic Running Restoration Project
This well-respected, and very much sought-after Tax & MOT exempt 1974 Honda CB360K0 has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours. This and the fact it's only showing 12039 miles and has been in dry storage for a considerable time have helped maintain its boyish good looks.
As you can see this bike has a few parts missing – Mirrors being the most obvious. It has stood a while, so the battery is flat, paintwork is faded, tyres & seat cover are perished.
This is the actual bike you are bidding on – Not library pictures from 49 years ago & it is every bit as nice as it looks here.....A great find!
The wheels look straight with nice clean chrome rims, good hubs & brake plates. Forks & yokes look straight & clean. Mudguards are both solid & are very tidy. Taillight assy is good as are the headlight & hangers. Instruments & switches look faded but ok. Carburettors are free sliding off the twist grip. Paintwork is slightly faded but solid, fuel tank is useably clean inside but has dents/marks & scratches in the original paint. Exhausts are non-original but seem solid. Seat base is in very good condition throughout. Indicators are tidy. Chain guard is tidy.
The engine is cosmetically clean, it turns over nicely off the kick starter – sounds/feels great & has compression BUT BEST OF ALL when we hooked it up to a good battery & fed it fresh fuel, gave it a few prods it fires, starts, runs & revs.
