1989 Yamaha Vmax Unregistered JAP Import Classic Restoration Project With Title Frame Number: JYA2LTN04KA003132 Engine Number: 2LT003132 Stock Number: 98190 This well-respected, full power, 1989 Yamaha Vmax has recently been imported from Japan where its spent all of its life
As you can see the bike looks complete but there is a bit of damage to the RH silencer, a few marks in the paintwork and some slight corrosion on the side panels
The wheels look straight with clean rims
The forks look straight with good chrome
Instruments look ok and switches move freely
Headlight, tailight and indicators all look good
The seat is in good condition
The carb is free-sliding off the twist grip
Mudguards are straight and solid
When we hooked it up to a boost battery and fed it some fresh fuel we had it firing, running and revving but the carb will require some attention
