1974 Yamaha DT125A Enduro Unregistered US Import Classic Restoration Project VIN: 444001171 Stock No: 98072 This Tax & MOT exempt 1974 Yamaha DT125A Enduro with its electric & kick starter has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life
This and the fact it's only showing 4746 miles and has been in dry storage for a considerable time have helped maintain some of its boyish good looks
We have been unable to confirm this mileage reading

As you can see this bike has a few parts missing – R/h mirror, toolkit & exhaust baffles being the most obvious
It has stood a while, so the battery is flat, paintwork is faded & tyres are perished
Sadly, the glass is broken on the speedometer
BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS
This is the actual bike you are bidding on – Not library pictures
The wheels look straight with chrome rims, good hubs & brake plates
Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome
Mudguards are both solid
Taillight assy is good as are the headlight & hangers
Instruments & switches look good
Carburettor is free sliding off the twist grip
Paintwork is faded but solid, fuel tank is dented & needs a good clean inside
Exhaust is original & solid
Seat is in good condition throughout
The engine turns over nicely off the kick starter – sounds/feels great & has compression BUT BEST OF ALL when we hooked it up to a good battery & fed it fresh fuel/oil, gave it a few prods it fires, starts, runs & revs
The electric starter also works well
The oil pump is fitted but not connected so we ran it on pre-mix
