This well-respected, and very much sought-after Tax & MOT exempt 1974 Kawasaki Z1A 900 with excellent serial numbers has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours.
This and the fact it's only showing 15596 miles and has been in dry storage for a considerable time have helped maintain its boyish good looks.
Original toolkit, warranty registration card & owners manual are all present.
While it looks entirely plausible, we have been unable to confirm this mileage reading. Please disregard it.
We are in the process of getting it fully UK registered – it will come with number plate & full V5 logbook.
The single most important purchase for a classic restoration project is the bike to restore, whether it's going to be a commercial venture or just a hobby interest it all starts here!. Not that this bike needs or deserves restoring LOOK AT IT they are only ever original 1/once!!!. PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES.

As you can see this bike is nearly complete missing just the battery.
It is also remarkably original – That said, we have fitted a brand-new seat & set of new Delkevic replica exhausts.
It has stood a while, so the brake master cylinder is not working & fuel tank is mucky inside.
BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS.This is the actual bike you are bidding on – Not library pictures.
The wheels look straight with nice clean chrome rims, good hubs & brake plate, disc & caliper.
Forks & yokes look straight with minor pitting in the chrome & clean alloy.
Mudguards are both solid & are tidy.
Taillight assy is good as are the headlight & hangers.
Instruments & switches look good.
Carburettors are free sliding off the twist grip.
Paintwork is solid, fuel tank is fuel tight but needs cleaning inside and has just minor marks & scratches in the original paint.
Indicators are tidy.
Chain guard is tidy as is the grab rail.
The engine is cosmetically very clean, it turns over nicely off the kick starter – sounds/feels great & has compression,
BUT BEST OF ALL when we hooked it up to a good battery & fed it fresh fuel, gave it a few prods it fires, starts, runs & revs very nicely.
