1983 Honda Z50J Gold Limited Edition Monkey Bike Unregistered JAP Import VIN: Z50J1604290 Stock No: 98147 This very much sought after 1983 Z50J Gold Limited Edition Monkey bike has recently been imported from Japan where it has spent all its life
This and the fact it's only showing 5833 km (3700 miles) and has been in dry storage for the last umpteen years have helped maintain its boyish good looks
We have been unable to confirm this mileage reading

As you can see this bike is remarkably original & nearly complete missing just the l/h mirror
It has stood a while, so the battery is flat, tyres are perished & it is losing some of the gold anodised finish in places

The wheels look straight with nice clean rims, good hubs & brake plates
Forks & yokes look straight
Mudguards are both solid
Taillight assy is good as are the headlight & hangers
Instruments & switches look good
Carburettor is free sliding off the twist grip
Fuel tank is squeaky-clean inside
Exhaust is original & solid
Seat is in very good condition throughout
Indicators are tidy
The engine is cosmetically clean BUT BEST OF ALL when we gave it a few prods it fires, starts, runs & revs
