This well-respected, tax and MOT exempt 1980 Yamaha XT250 has recently been imported from North America where its spent all of its life. As you can see it has a few bits missing, few bits broken, a few bits non-standard but a few bits are very nice indeed. As you can see in the photos the rear wheel has a buckle, there are a few dents in the tank and the mudguards are both cracked. The frame loop is missing from the rear. The front wheels look straight with bright alloy rims. Forks look straight and gators are intact. The tank is clean inside and feels solid underneath. The exhaust feels solid. The seat cover is torn in a couple of places but the base is solid. The engine turns over with compression and did fire/run on easystart but the carb and fuel system will require some attention.We are selling this bike as a trade clearance project so make us an offer and get started!
