This very much sought after 1988 Yamaha TZR250 1KT model has recently been imported from Japan where it has spent all its life.
This and the fact it's only showing 8385 km (5250 miles) and has been in dry storage for the last few years have helped maintain its boyish good looks.
We have been unable to confirm this mileage reading. Please disregard it.

As you can see this bike has the mirrors missing.
Sadly, the bike has had a tumble on the r/h side which has dented the fuel tank, cracked the top fairing under the mirror mount, scuffed the fairing lowers & front indicator.
BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS.This is the actual bike you are bidding on – Not library pictures.
The wheels look straight with good tyres & working brakes.
Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome.
Taillight assy is good as are the headlight & indicators.
Instruments & switches look good.
Carburettors are free sliding off the twist grip.
Fuel tank is squeaky-clean inside.
Exhausts are non-original & solid.
Seat is in good condition throughout.
BUT BEST OF ALL
The engine, when we gave it a few prods it fires, starts, runs & revs nicely.
