This very much sought after 2001 Yamaha XT225 Serow has recently been imported from Japan where it has spent all its life.
This and the fact it's only showing 12281 km (7700 miles) and has been in dry storage for the last few years have helped maintain its boyish good looks.
While it looks entirely plausible, we have been unable to confirm this mileage reading. Please disregard it.

As you can see this bike is complete.
It has a few scratches/marks on the front mudguard & headlight cowl.
BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS.This is the actual bike you are bidding on – Not library pictures.
The wheels look straight with nice gold rims, good discs, calipers & working master cylinders.
Forks & yokes look straight.
Mudguards are both solid.
Taillight assy is good as are the headlight & indicators.
Instruments & switches look good.
Carburettor is free sliding off the twist grip.
Fuel tank is useably clean inside and has just minor dents/marks & scratches in the original paint.
Exhaust is original & solid.
Seat is in good condition throughout.
Shock absorber is damping fine.
The engine turns over nicely – sounds/feels great & has compression - We have had it firing/running on easystart spray but the fuel system & carb will need attention.
