This tax and MOT exempt 1982 Yamaha XJ750 Maxim has recently been imported from North America where its spent all its life. As you can see it's got a few bits missing; front indicators being the most obvious. There are a few bits non-standard, corbin seat and a make-shift RH side panel. The wheels look straight with clean rims. The forks look straight with bright chrome. Instruments look ok and switches move freely. The tank is mucky inside but feels solid. The carb is free-sliding off the twist grip. The headlight, tailight and rear indicators look ok. The corbin seat is solid but not fully bolted on. The exhaust feels solid and silencers are bright. Mudguards are straight and solid. When we hooked it up to a good battery we had it firing, running and revving on easystart spray but the carb and fuel system will require some attention.We are selling this bike as a trade clearance project so make us an offer and get started!
