1971 BSA Rocket III MKII Unregistered US Import Classic Restoration Project

This uncommon, well-respected and much sought after 1971 BSA Rocket III MKII has recently been imported from North America where its spent all of its life. As you can see the bike look almost complete missing just its mirrors and ignition key. There are a couple of dents in the top RH side of the tank and the paintwork is faded but otherwise the bike is in remarkable condition for its age. The wheels look straight with bright rims. Forks look straight but are lightly pitted. Headlight, tailight and indicators all look ok. The tank looks useably clean inside. The seat is in good condition. Mudguards are straight and bright. Chainguard is straight and solid. The exhausts are solid and bright. Best of all when we hooked it up to a good battery and hot-wired the igntion we had it firing, running and revving on its own tank but its obvious the carbs need work.We are selling this bike as a trade clearance project so make us an offer and get started!
