This well-respected 1978 Honda XL250S has recently been imported from Japan where its spent all its life. As you can see its got a few bits missing; clocks and light toggle off the RH switch hub being the most obvious. There are a few marks in the paint and a few rust spots. The wheels look straight. Forks look straight but are lightly pitted. Headlight, tailight and indicators all look ok. Remaining switches move freely. Mudguards and chainguard are straight and solid. The tanks looks clean inside. Carb is free-sliding off the twist grip. Seat looks in good condition but the grab strap is worn. The exhaust is solid. When we hooked it up to a good battery and fed it some fresh fuel we had it firing, running and revving on its own tank but the carbs will require a bit of attention.We are selling this bike as a trade clearance project so make us an offer and get started!
