This 1985 Yamaha XV700 Virago has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life.
This and the fact it's only showing 21287 miles and has been in dry storage for a considerable time have helped maintain its boyish good looks.
We have been unable to confirm this mileage reading. Please disregard it.

As you can see this bike has a few parts missing – Side panels & battery being the most obvious.
It has stood a while, so the paintwork is faded, tyres & seat cover are perished and brake master cylinder is not working.
BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS.This is the actual bike you are bidding on – Not library pictures.
The wheels look straight with nice clean alloy, good hubs & brake plate, discs & calipers.
Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome & clean alloy.
Mudguards are both solid.
Taillight assy is good as are the headlight & hangers.
Instruments & switches look good.
Carburettors are free sliding off the twist grip.
Paintwork is slightly faded but solid, fuel tank is useably clean inside and has just minor dents/marks & scratches in the original paint.
Exhausts are original & solid.
Indicators are tidy but rear r/h stem is broken.
Shock absorbers are damping fine.
The engine is cosmetically clean - We have had it firing/running on easystart spray but the fuel system & carbs will need attention.
