1986 Yamaha XV1100 Virago Unregistered US Import Classic Restoration Project Frame Number:JYA1TE009GA000720 Engine Number: 1TE-000720 Stock Number: 93362 This 1986 Yamaha XV1100 Virago has recently been imported from North America where its spent all of its life
As you can see this bike is nearly complete missing the fuel pump cover & exhaust baffles
It has stood a while, so the battery is flat & tyres are bald
Sadly there are rust scabs on most of the painted surfaces & some chrome parts are pitted & alloy parts oxidised
The wheels are straight with nice clean alloy, good hubs & brake plate, discs, calipers & working master cylinder
Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome
Mudguards are both solid but need painting
Taillight assy is good as are the headlight & hangers
Instruments look ok and switches move freely
Carburettors are free sliding off the twist grip
Paintwork is scabby but solid, fuel tank is clean inside
Exhausts are original & seem solid
Seat is in good condition throughout
Indicators are tidy
Shock absorbers are damping fine
We have had it firing/running on easystart spray but the fuel system & carbs will need attention
