1973 Suzuki GT250K Unregistered US Import Classic Restoration Project Frame Number: GT250-12081 Engine Number: GT250-12233 Stock Number: 97837 This well-respected, tax and MOT exempt, 1973 Suzuki GT250K has recently been imported from North America where its spent all its life
As you can see its got a few bits missing; ignition key and light toggle off the LH switch hub being the most obvious
We also noted; there are a few dents in the tank, a few marks in the paint, LH side panel is cracked and the front mudguard has a bit of a scrape
The wheels look straight but there are a few rust spots on the otherwise bright chrome rims
The forks look straight and gators are intact
Headlight bowl and lens look ok but the rim is damaged
Tailight and indicators are ok
Instruments look ok and switches move freely
The carb is free-sliding off the twist grip
The exhausts have a few marks but feels solid
The tank is clean inside
The seat is in good condition bar a tiny slit along a seam of the cover
The mudguards are straight but there is some slight pitting
The chainguard is tidy
When we hooked it up to a good battery and fed some fresh fuel to the carb we had it firing/running but its obvious that the carb and fuel system will require some attention
