1977 Honda CB750A Hondamatic Unregistered US Import Classic Running Restoration VIN: CB750A7108311 Stock No; 97775 This well-respected, and very much sought-after Tax & MOT exempt 1977 Honda CB750A Hondamatic with its 2-speed automatic gearbox has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life
This and the fact it's only showing 8077 miles and has been in dry storage for a considerable time have helped maintain its boyish good looks
While it looks entirely plausible, we have been unable to confirm this mileage reading

As you can see this bike is complete & remarkably original but for the headlight hangers
It has stood a while, so the master cylinder is not working
Sadly, the exhaust silencers are rotten
BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS
This is the actual bike you are bidding on – Not library pictures
The wheels look straight with nice clean alloy rims, good hubs & brake plate, disc & caliper
Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome & clean alloy
Mudguards are both solid & are very tidy
Taillight assy is good as are the headlight & hangers
Instruments & switches look great
Carburettors are free sliding off the twist grip
Paintwork is solid, fuel tank is squeaky-clean inside and has just minor marks & scratches in the original paint
Seat is in very good condition throughout & hides the auxiliary kick-starter
Indicators are tidy
Chain guard is tidy as is the grab rail
Shock absorbers are damping fine
The engine is cosmetically very clean BUT BEST OF ALL when we hooked it up to a good battery & fed it fresh fuel, it fires, starts, runs & revs
