This Tax & MOT exempt 1977 Yamaha XS650D has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life.
We have been unable to confirm this mileage reading. Please disregard it.

As you can see this bike has got a few bits missing, a few bits damaged/broken, a few bits rusty/corroded, a few bits non-standard & a few bits are very nice indeed. The side stand spring is missing so we photographed it on the red stand (not included!).BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS.The alloy wheels look straight with oxidised rims.
Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome.
Mudguards are both solid.
Taillight assy is good as are the headlight & hangers.
Instruments look good.
Carburettors are just about free sliding off the twist grip.
Seat base is in good solid condition throughout.
Indicators are tidy.
The engine is cosmetically clean, it turns over nicely off the kick starter – sounds/feels great & has compression,
BUT BEST OF ALL when we hooked it up to a good battery & fed it fresh fuel, gave it a few prods it fires, starts, runs & revs.
