This well-respected and much sought after 1989 Yamaha TDR250 has recently been imported from Japan where its spent all of its life. These bikes are becoming quite hard to find. As you can see its got a few bits missing; ignition key being the most obvious. We also noted that there is some oxidisation to some alloy elements and the lower LH fairing is broken. The wheels look straight and mostly bright but some oxidisation is present. The forks look straight, gators are split but the chrome is bright underneath. The lower fork sanchions have some oxidisation present. The headlight looks good, as does the cowl and screen. Indicators and tailight are ok. Instruments look ok and switches move freely. The seat cover has a few marks and there are a couple of tears in the grab strap but otherwise it is tidy. The exhausts are solid, the peashooter on the RH silencer is dented. The chainguard and mudguard are straight and solid. When we hooked it up to a good battery and hot-wired the ignition we had it firing/running on easy start spray but the carb and fuel system will require attention.We are selling this bike as a trade clearance project so make us an offer and get started!
