This well-respected, and very much sought-after Tax & MOT exempt 1978 Yamaha DT250E Enduro has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life.
This and the fact it's only showing 2835 miles and has been in dry storage for a considerable time have helped maintain some of its boyish good looks.
We have been unable to confirm this mileage reading. Please disregard it.

As you can see this bike has a few parts missing – Mirrors, indicators, chain guard, ignition swich & key being the most obvious. It has stood a while, so the battery is flat, paintwork is faded, tyres & seat cover are perished, tank is mucky inside, instruments are faded. Sadly, the wheels are odd.
BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS.This is the actual bike you are bidding on – Not library pictures.
Forks & yokes look straight.
Taillight assy is good as are the headlight & hangers.
Carburettor is free sliding off the twist grip.
Exhaust is original & solid.
The engine is cosmetically clean, it turns over off the kick starter – it is sparking but sounds/feels low on compression, so we haven't had it running.
