This well-respected Tax & MOT exempt 1978 Suzuki GS550 has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life.
This and the fact it's only showing 19776 miles and has been in dry storage for a considerable time have helped maintain its boyish good looks.
We have been unable to confirm this mileage reading. Please disregard it.

As you can see this bike has a few parts missing – Mirrors, ignition key, clutch lever, battery & toolkit being the most obvious.
BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS.This is the actual bike you are bidding on – Not library pictures.
The wheels look straight with nice clean chrome rims, good hubs & brake plate, disc, caliper & working master cylinder.
Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome & clean alloy.
Mudguard is solid & tidy.
Taillight assy is good as are the headlight & hangers.
Instruments & switches look good.
Carburettors are free sliding off the twist grip.
Paintwork is very nice, fuel tank is useably clean inside.
Exhaust is a 4:1 Delkevic stainless steel.
Seat is in good condition throughout.
Indicators are tidy.
Chain guard is solid.
The engine turns over nicely off the kick starter – sounds/feels great & has compression,
BUT BEST OF ALL when we hooked it up to a good battery & fed it fresh fuel, gave it a few prods it fires, starts, runs & revs.
