1973 Yamaha RD250 Unregistered US Import Classic Restoration Project Matching Frame and Engine: 352100964 Stock Number: 98009 This well-respected and much sought after 1973 Yamaha RD250 has recently been imported from North America where its spent all of its life
As you can see its got a few bits missing; indicators, ballend off the clutch lever, kill switch, and ignition key being the most obvious
We also noted that the front brake lever is snapped and the non-standard seat has holes in the base
The wheels look straight with good chrome rims
Forks look straight with bright chrome
Headlight and tailight look ok
The instruments are a bit loose
The other switches move freely
Exhausts feel solid and look bright
Mudguards and chainguard are straight, solid and bright
Sadly the engine is seized, we have not investigated how or why it is seized
