This legendary 1990 Yamaha FZR1000 EXUP 3GM model has recently been imported from Japan where it has spent all its life.
This and the fact it's only showing 37358 km (23500 miles) and has been in dry storage for the last umpteen years have helped maintain some of its boyish good looks.
We have been unable to confirm this mileage reading. Please disregard it.

As you can see this bike has a few parts missing – front indicators being the most obvious.
It has stood a while, so the battery is flat & rear brake master cylinder is not working.
BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS.This is the actual bike you are bidding on – Not library pictures.
The wheels look straight with fairly clean rims.
Forks & yokes look straight but chrome is pitted.
Taillight assy is good as are the headlight & rear indicators.
Instruments & switches look good.
Carburettors are free sliding off the twist grip.
Paintwork is solid, with the obligatory scuffs on the r/h fairing - fuel tank is clean inside and has just minor chips/marks & scratches in the original paint.
Exhausts are original & solid.
Seat is in very good condition throughout.
We have had the engine firing/running on easystart spray but the fuel system & carbs will need attention.
