This well-respected, and very much sought-after Tax & MOT exempt 1976 Kawasaki KZ900A4 has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours.
This and the fact it's only showing 16580
miles and has been in dry storage for a considerable time have helped maintain its boyish good looks.

As you can see this bike looks remarkably original & nearly complete missing just the lights Hi/Lo knob off the l/h switch & the tool kit.
It has stood a while, so the battery is flat & brake master cylinder is not working.
BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS.This is the actual bike you are bidding on – Not library pictures from 48 years ago & it is every bit as nice as it looks here.....A great find!.
The wheels look straight with nice clean chrome rims, good hubs & brake plate, disc & caliper.
Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome & clean alloy.
Mudguards are both solid & are very tidy.
Taillight assy is good as are the headlight & hangers.
Instruments & switches look good.
Carburettors are free sliding off the twist grip.
Paintwork is solid, fuel tank is useably clean inside and has just minor chips/marks & scratches in the paint.
Exhausts are new replica Delkevic items.
Seat is in very good condition throughout & hides the original owner’s manual & warranty booklet.
Indicators are tidy.
Chain guard is tidy as is the grab rail.
The engine is cosmetically very clean, it turns over nicely off the kick starter – sounds/feels great & has compression BUT BEST OF ALL when we hooked it up to a good battery & fed it fresh fuel, gave it a few prods it fires, starts, runs & revs but it is obvious the carbs need attention.
