This well-respected, Tax & MOT exempt 1978 Kawasaki KZ650B has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life.
As you can see this bike has a few parts missing –
Ignition key, seat lock, mirrors, battery & toolkit being the most obvious.
It has stood a while, so the paintwork is faded, tyres & seat cover are perished & master cylinder is not working.
The wheels look straight with nice clean chrome rims.
Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome & clean alloy.
Mudguards are both solid & are tidy.
Taillight assy is good as are the headlight & hangers.
Instruments & switches look good.
Carburettors are free sliding off the twist grip.
Paintwork is slightly faded but solid, fuel tank is useably clean inside.
Exhausts are non-original & solid.
Seat base is in good condition throughout.
Indicators are tidy.
Chain guard is tidy.
The engine is cosmetically clean, it turns over nicely off the kick starter – sounds/feels great & has compression - We have had it firing/running on easystart spray but the fuel system & carbs will need attention.
