1972 Kawasaki H2 Mach IV Unregistered US Import Classic Restoration Project Frame Number: H216162 Engine Number: H2E16098 Stock Number: 97781 This rare, well-respected and much sought after 1972 Kawasaki H2 Mach IV 750 has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all of its life
As you can see its got a couple of bits missing; ignition key and RH mirror being the most obvious
We also noted that; there are a few marks/chips in the otherwise bright paint, there is some danage to the lower RH silencer, the back of the tacho casing has a scrape and the chainguard is dented
The wheels look straight but there are a few rust spots on the bright chrome rims
The forks look straight with good chrome
Headlight and tailight look ok
Indicators look ok but the RH chrome backing has a scrape
Instruments look ok and switches move freely
The carb is free-sliding off the twist grip
Mudguards are straight and solid
The exhausts system feels solid but the chrome is slightly pitted
The seat is in good condition throughout
The tank looks squeaky clean inside
When we hooked it up to a booster battery, fed it some fresh fuel and used another key to switch on the ignition we had it firing, running and revving on its own tank
