1975 Honda MT125K Elsinore Unregistered US Import Classic Restoration Project VIN: MT1252001980 Stock No: 97643 This well-respected, and very much sought-after Tax & MOT exempt 1975 Honda MT125K Elsinore has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life
This and the fact it's only showing 5584 miles and has been in dry storage for a considerable time have helped maintain some of its boyish good looks
We have been unable to confirm this mileage reading

As you can see this bike has got a few bits missing, a few bits damaged/broken, a few bits rusty/corroded & a few bits are very nice indeed
The wheels look straight with chrome rims, good hubs & brake plates
Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome
Mudguards are both solid
Taillight assy is good as are the headlight & hangers
Instruments look good
Carburettor is free sliding off the twist grip
Paintwork is faded but solid, fuel tank is useably clean inside
Exhaust is original & solid
Seat base is in good condition throughout
Sadly, the engine is seized, hopefully it will be through standing around forever, but we have not inspected the engine internally, so we have no idea why/how it has seized, also, the splines are worn off the kick starter & shaft
