This well-respected, and very much sought-after Tax & MOT exempt 1976 Honda GL1000 Goldwing has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life – the climate is far kinder to motorcycles than ours. This and the fact it's only showing 26256 miles and has been in dry storage for a considerable time have helped maintain its boyish good looks. As you can see this bike has a few parts missing – Fuel pump, L/h mirror, R/h side panel, indicators & grabrail being the most obvious. It is also missing the throttle cable inners. It has stood a while, so the battery is flat, paintwork is faded, tyres & seat cover are perished, brake master cylinders are not working, carburettors are stuck & exhaust is rotten. The wheels look straight with nice clean alloy rims, good looking discs & calipers. Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome. Mudguards are both solid. Taillight assy is good as are the headlight bowl & hangers. Instruments & switches look good. The engine is cosmetically clean - We have had it firing/running on easystart spray but the fuel system & carbs will need attention. &l- CONTACT US
