This incredibly clean Tax & MOT exempt 1978 Honda GL1000 Goldwing has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life.
We have been unable to confirm this mileage reading. Please disregard it.
The single most important purchase for a classic restoration project is the bike to restore, whether it's going to be a commercial venture or just a hobby interest it all starts here!. Not that this bike needs or deserves restoring LOOK AT IT they are only ever original 1/once!!!. PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES.

As you can see this bike is complete & remarkably original but for the period engine bars & chrome radiator grille.
It has stood a while, so the battery is flat, tyres feel hard & rear brake master cylinder is not working.
BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS.This is the actual bike you are bidding on – Not library pictures from 46 years ago & it is every bit as nice as it looks here.....A great find!.
The wheels look straight with nice clean rims, good discs, calipers & working front master cylinder.
Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome & clean alloy.
Mudguards are both solid & are tidy.
Taillight assy is good as are the headlight & hangers.
Instruments & switches look good.
Carburettors are free sliding off the twist grip.
Paintwork is solid & presentable original paint.
Exhausts are original & solid.
Seat is in good condition throughout.
Indicators are tidy.
The engine is cosmetically very clean - We have had it firing/running on easystart spray but the fuel system & carbs will need attention.
