1971 Honda CL175K5 Scrambler Unregistered US Import Classic Restoration Project VIN: CL1756008681 Stock No: 97095 This well-respected, Tax & MOT exempt 1971 Honda CL175K5 Scrambler has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life
This and the fact it's only showing 4934 miles and has been in dry storage for a considerable time have helped maintain its boyish good looks

As you can see this bike has a few parts missing – Ignition key, tool kit & r/h mirror being the most obvious
It has stood a while, so the battery is flat, paintwork is faded & tyres are perished
Sadly, the front brake lever is bent & r/h side panel is cracked
BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS

The wheels look straight with nice clean chrome rims, good hubs & brake plates
Forks & yokes look straight
Mudguards are both solid
Taillight assy is good as are the headlight & hangers
Instruments look good
Carburettors are free sliding off the twist grip
Fuel tank is useably clean inside
Exhausts are original & solid
Seat is in good condition throughout
Indicators are reasonably tidy
Chain guard is tidy
The engine is cosmetically clean, it turns over nicely off the kick starter – sounds/feels great & has compression - We have had it firing/running on easystart spray but the fuel system & carbs will need attention
