This well-respected, and very much sought-after Tax & MOT exempt 1969 BSA B25T 250 Trail Street Scrambler has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life.
This and the fact it's only showing 4188 miles and has been in dry storage for a considerable time have helped maintain its boyish good looks.
While it looks entirely plausible, we have been unable to confirm this mileage reading. Please disregard it.
The single most important purchase for a classic restoration project is the bike to restore, whether it's going to be a commercial venture or just a hobby interest it all starts here!. Not that this bike needs or deserves restoring LOOK AT IT they are only ever original 1/once!!!. PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES.

As you can see this bike looks remarkably original & nearly complete, missing just the carb/airbox rubber.
It has stood a while, so the battery is flat, paintwork is faded, tyres are perished & carburettor is stuck.
BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS.This is the actual bike you are bidding on – Not library pictures.
The wheels look straight with clean chrome rims, good hubs & brake plates.
Forks & yokes look straight.
Mudguards are both solid.
Taillight assy is good as are the headlight & hangers.
Instruments & switches look good.
Paintwork is slightly faded but solid, alloy fuel tank is clean inside and has just minor marks & scratches.
Exhaust is original & solid.
Seat is in good condition throughout.
Sadly, the engine is seized, hopefully it will be through standing around forever, but we have not inspected the engine internally, so we have no idea why/how it has seized.
